Day 5 - May 5, 2010 - VLCD

Didn't get to celebrate Cinco de Mayo the way most did, but that's ok...I enjoyed my day anyway! I had less hunger today...even forgot to eat my fruit at lunch time! Very tired tonight.

AM Snack: Handful of grape tomatoes

Lunch: Pan Seared Tuna Steak with Salt and Pepper, Steamed Brocolli and breadstick

Dinner: Subway Chicken Breast Salad with lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickles, black olives and balsamic vinegar.

Bedtime Snack: 2 apples and breadstick

Water: 2 1/2 liters

Weight Loss: 1.5 lbs

Overall: 1.6 lbs

Day 4 - May 4, 2010 - VLCD

Oh, boy, was I grumpy for a good portion of the day today. I realized that I just need to get back into the groove of this and then I will be fine. Cheated a little today with an extra veggie (grape tomatoes) in the afternoon.

Menu:

Lunch: Pan seared tuna steak with salt & pepper and steamed brocolli

Snack: Breadstick and then an apple later.

Cheat: Ate a couple handfuls of grape tomatoes

Dinner: Grilled chicken breast with steamed brocolli

Snack: Breadstick and apple

Water: Drank 2 1/2 liters

Weight: lost .9

Overall: lost .1

Day 3 - May 3, 2010 - VLCD

First day on the Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD). I did well, but was really hungry when I went to bed. I didn't give in, I just went to sleep!

Menu:

Lunch: Tilapia with salt & pepper and cilantro over a bed of organic spring mix.

PM Snack: Grissini breadstick

Before Dinner Snack: Apple

Dinner: Steak Fajita meat over bed of organic spring mix, breadstick

Bedtime Snack - Frozen strawberry smoothie with water and stevia

Water: drank 2 liters of water, 2 venti green iced teas

Weight: gained 1.7 lbs

Overall: gained .8 lbs

Day 2 - May 2, 2010 - Loading Day

Here I go again...another loading day! Started the morning off with a quick trip to Starbuck's! Enjoyed lunch at Native New Yorker.

Menu:

Blueberry scone, venti dark cherry mocha frappucino, calzone with ricotta, mozarella and mushrooms, quesadilla, left over orange chicken, 2 snickers, 1 reeses peanut butter cup pkg and a pint of Ben & Jerry's chocolate chip cookie dough and brownie ice cream.

Weight: Lost .9 pounds

Day 1 - May 1, 2010 - Loading Day

Today was my first loading day of my 2nd round of HCG drops. Bill told me first thing this morning that he was going to do this with me this time. I am really looking forward to this round. I have much more confidence in the whole process and am anxious to start losing weight again!

Menu:

Apple Jacks w/ milk, cookie dough, Cold Stone Creamery Love It Chocolate ice cream with brownie, hot fudge, caramel and pecans (omg ... sooooo yummy!), Panda Express rice, noodles and orange chicken, 1/2 pint Ben & Jerry's mint ice cream, 1 pint Ben & Jerry's chocolate brownie ice cream.

Went to bed feeling absolutely sick to my stomach -- ugh!
